Topeka is a jet black blanketed, 75% Falabella stallion. He has matured into such a handsome boy. These photos are of him in his stallion paddock, no conditioning or anything, just all natural. He comes out of two leopard appaloosas, so am looking forward to his first foals 2008. His full brother is also a leopard and just produced a full leopard with his first foal.  He has a very unique personality. High energy and borderline wild when heading out to the see the girls, but one-on-one with me, he looks for hugs and kisses and a total sweetheart. He measured 30.5" at 4 years old. His blanket has expanded up to his withers and lots of white hairs all over him now and spots visible even in the black areas if you look very closely. He could go near leopard as he ages. I was NOT looking for a stallion when I bought Topeka, but he just sort of came up all sad and clung to me while I was looking at the yearling and under horses. By the time I'd drove the two hours home, I called back and said "I'll take him." I'm so glad I did. Such a wonderful addition to the stallion crew here! And a wonderful little equine friend for us.
