Born at 17" and 25 lbs., Raphael should mature around 31" tall. He has awesome conformation and was imprinted at birth. He has stood for pets and approached people within a couple hours of birth. He is curious, trusting and fearless, much to his dam's distress. He appears to be show and top breeding quality. With his appy ancestry and already loud color, we could not have asked for better!!! Raphael was just clipped (left some longer hair on lower legs and face for sun and fly protection) at two months old, and LOOK what was underneath that winter, baby coat!!!! I am thrilled, and he is more than anyone could ask for. His price has gone up, and he just may be a keeper. All will depend on how he matures. Very proud of this awesome, home-grown little angel!! And he just gets sweeter every day.
And check out his "peacock" spots! They are the spots that have a little "halo" around them. Very rare, and I've only seen this in one other appy--my full-size riding horse, "Storm." He was a 100% color producer for the 10 years he was a stud. Raphael is likely a blue roan leopard, since he has the line-back, black mane and tail, plus black stockings.
Watch with us as he matures. He is for sale. Asking $6,000. a 25% non-refundable deposit will hold him until weaned and ready to leave.
